June Doc visit

Gabe had his check up today, all is well, his oxy level is maintained at 75%, still OK. But Dr H told us that right now, they plan to have Gabe do the surgery before winter. Reason being is that it'll be cold then and it may affect Gabe's oxy level to go down abit. So they do not want any unforeseen problems, so it would be ideal to do it before Nov/Dec...

This surgery is the one that he was supposed to do at 10kg. But, seeing that he'll be unable to wait till then, they can perform it on him as long as he is above 7kg. So hopefully he gains abit more weight by Nov to reach say 8kg that is ideal.

During this op, they will repair his malfunctioned valve with an artificial or human tissue valve. And also repair the hole in his heart. The after that he should be in good health and oxy levels near 100% if all goes well.

It's good and bad news....bad that he will need to do ANOTHER op this year, yet good that after this he'll be near 100% and i won't have to panic or stress everytime he cries too long and hard. Also that would mean after recovery we can start flying again!!! yay!!!!! But more importantly, it would mean that he will have enough strength & stamina to do more therapy and be able to do more strenuous tasks like crawling and standing. I'm also hoping his growth rate will be faster after this, and his appetite increases.

So yeah the good surpasses the bad, so we are looking forward to having our precious baby near 100% in good health.

Cmon baby, let's eat n eat to put on that weight yah...
