GABRIEL ON
EAT/MEALS
Horror story. Still choosy, now even worse still. Loves onigiri but only the outside seaweed. Now learning too like bread i think from the influence of Lucas. So sometimes he rejects his dinner and wants only bread. And he likes sausages too.
SPEECH
Has learnt many more words, it`s actually quite fast this time round in terms of him picking it up and suddenly just saying it out of nowhere. New words eg. throw, kick, baby, hand. He`s also started speech therapy once a week, I`m not sure if the new words being picked up faster has anything to do with therapy since we`ve only just begun. And it`s costly too at JPY 12,000 per 40minutes session.
MELTDOWNS
Serious episodes of meltdowns when i do not give him the IPAD or IPHONE. Immediately back from school, the first thing he wants is the ipad which i told him no, and he promptly goes into roll-on-the-floor-screaming-crying meltdown. Yup, our fault but too late he`s a pro at it already.
FAVE NEW HOBBY
Hitting Lucas on the head with anything he can. And snatching toys from Lucas. And pinning Lucas` head down onto floor in a deadlock hug.
LUCAS HIKARU ON
SLEEP
At 9 months still waking 3 times to feed and in between to whine. Should have gotten professional sleep trainer.
EAT/MEALS
Recently decided that he likes milk more and solids less. Good news for GRandma since she`ll see less mess when he eats then. No longer fancies bread that much, sausages preferred and udon.
FAVE ACTIVITY
Loves Mickey Mouse Hot Dog Dance to which he will move body and hands up and down. And loves seeing GAbe on his Zebra toy bounching up & down and he will try to follow as well, giggling n laughing.
FAVE TOY
His bolster which if he sees, will smile n giggle and crawl towards it n lay face & head into it drinking in the scent. Drags it everywhere he goes.
DEVELOPMENT
Can now stand very steadily while lifting or holding toys. PAst few days have noticed he is trying to move feet, so hoping he will be able to take first steps soon and walk and go be independant and leave me alone for awhile.
Yeah, so that`s about it...and if anyone cares about me, well let`s just say i am hoping to get my 5 hour straight sleep, still wishing and hoping it`ll happen soon. Still wishing there wasn`t a leech attached to me so frequently. Unfortunately i read it`s a normal behaviour for babies at 8-9mth stage till maybe a year....yeah happy times....
Still considering liposuction to get rid of tummy fats but afraid I`ll die on the operating table. So obviously not THAT desperate...yet.
So there you have it...what a fun stage we`re going through here...
