My Boy has New Toys

Gabe's new play mat has arrived...yay!! It's so colorful and pretty hor...We needed one coz Gabe had been playing on the mattress for the longest time and i felt it wasn;t good for his sitting and crawling learning sessions. The mattress wasn;t solid enuff to provide him with a stable and firm ground to support himself.

True enough, once i put him on it, he started to push into the sitting up position many times more and he even managed to push himself upright into sitting position without any hands supporting....that is a really good sign!!! And , i caught him going on all fours, with out his middle body touching the ground..aka...we're getting closer to crawling, not just army crawling! Actual proper crawl...yippeeee!!!!!

He loves the extra space too...rolling here n there.

Ohhh, we also got him 2 new toys during the weekend...introducing GiGi and Brownie:

GiGi is this cute lil blondie girl and Brownie is the cute lil toy poodle. Brownie can walk, bark, n whine .....we got him the dog coz i wanted to encourage him to crawl more. So i thought a moving toy would serve well for this purpose...umm, well, I'm still waiting for him to go after Brownie. Instead Gabe right now just stares at Brownie mostly and when the poor dog gets in his way, he roughly lifts him up and throws Brownie to another side....same goes for GiGi...she gets flung by the hair most of the time, especially when i purposely put her in front of him...
